ABOUT THIS BLOG

Who is LMNOP ?
Actually LMNOP are two separate persons.
LM : Professional comics author and illustrator, she once said for herself "Oh, Social sciences seem cool". So here we are! (you could discover her others works on her blog or her Instagram).
NOP : sociologist in training, he has always been jalous of those people who were able to accurately record social phenomenons, only with a pencil! Once, in his bath, he decided that « Eurêka, it's time to give it a try! » (a short résumé on his laboratory's website).

Graphic Sociology, why?
Sociology is a science (yeah, I'm positive!), which aim to understand and to explain the individuals' behaviour in our societies.
Bande dessinée (comics) is an art and a medium, which allow us to tell stories, to get messages across.

Sociology is a great source of inspiration for comic authors!
And comic books are a great tool for sociologists!
So, it's time to get to work on the active cooperation between these two disciplines! There are plenty of ways to make sociologists and comic authors work together... and this blog is a place to experiment them all!
